This is my final project. The idea was for the leaf to be incorporated into the project, not simply displayed by it. I liked the feeling that that the paper was blossoming out from the leaf. It appears to have many separate plane, but in reality most of them are one piece.

This is where I came from. This was the original model of this idea. Again, I liked the concept of blossoming outward and enveloping the leaf, but I wanted to have it stand upright. I also changed to a more translucent paper after I received some advice to mimic the translucency and waxy texture of my leaf. Someone told me they like this one more than the final... but I disagree :) |
